I live to love. I love to write. I write to live. Without poetry and music, art, there would definitely be a void in my life. To be able to stand in front of faces I may or may not know, and tell them stories about periods in my life that struck me so hard, that they can feel themselves living it, brings the most relieved smile to my face. I've been a poet since I was a child, started slamming poetry in Mesa when I was 18 and never looked back.
So I’m a different breed of girl; drifting from one scene to the next ~ Rockabilly, Industrial, or blinking to the house vibes of binkis at a rave, I love music. Dancing, give me dancing every night and aching muscles. My views are pretty black and white; I’ve grown up enough to admit that. That if someone hurts me enough to cut them off or that is my take, convincing me otherwise is a difficult under taking. It really isn’t that other people’s opinions aren’t worth respecting, I just don’t always agree with them.
I see most everything as an opportunity. There is another possible answer to every choice, even though one is always clearly the wrong option ~ sometimes I choose it anyway to see what will happen. I have a tendency to be a hypocrite. The world is my play ground and I want to rewrite the rules. Love is never perfect; true love is sublime, and hate can be orgasmic. So what if I’m a nympho when I love someone and a prude if I do not? Clearly, I’m a mess but it’s easy to figure out where everything is and how my clock ticks.
